Zinc Carnosine, is a unique combination in which a zinc ion and carnosine bind in an equal ratio to create a chelate structure. L-Histidine and Beta-Alanine, two essential amino acids, combine to form the dipeptide L-Carnosine. L-Carnosine is abundant in muscles and nerves naturally, and has been shown to have antioxidant characteristics. Because of its polymeric nature & chelated structure it has a slow dissociation rate.
